Kitchen update!

We have been trying to freshen the kitchen, so new paint on the cabinets and drum roll please,
new appliances!

The Army Twilight Tattoo

IIf you are ever in the Northern Virginia area during the summer the Army Twlight Tattoo is a great show.  It is held at Ft. Myer in Arlington, VA.

Hurricane Sandy!

We just finished the dutch door on the front of the shed, when hurricane Sandy hit!

Thank goodness this tree did not hit the house or shed!

One of the reasons I have been slow in fluffing my house for fall is this little shed we have been building.  Thank goodness we are almost finished!  Just the doors, stairs and tweaking.

I love fall, I love the smell and the crisp air!  I usually like to decorate a little during this time and I do have  a few fall vignettes to share.  Above is the front porch by the door.  I decided to use pansies instead of mums this year for my flowers.  Pansies last a little longer here in Virginia.
